This is a wonderful opportunity to independently run a room. It is a beautiful nursery, with a real family feel.

The Brampton Day Nursery is located on the picturesque Brampton High Street, 2 miles from Huntingdon Town. The nursery is open from 8.00am – 6.00pm 52 weeks a year and are closed for Public Holidays.

Wigwam Nurseries Ltd are a small group of 5 day nurseries. Each nursery has been carefully adapted and refurbished to an extremely high standard and is well equipped with natural, high quality, stimulating resources.

Wigwam Nurseries Ltd believes in providing quality early education & care in a welcoming, stimulating and caring environment. Each nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and encompasses a child centred approach to play and learning. What will I be doing as a Room Leader?

Hold accountability for the smooth running of the room

Building positive and trusting relationships with children and outstanding parent partnerships.

Providing a safe, hygienic, caring and stimulating environment for the children.

Ensuring that the physical, emotional, social and intellectual education and care provided to children is of the highest standard.

Planning, carrying out and recording fun, inspirational and educational play and learning opportunities.

Am I qualified for this job?

A full and relevant Early Years & Childcare qualification at level 3 (Early Years Educator) is required for this role.

In some cases, English & Maths GCSE's at grade C or functional skills level 2 in English & Maths is required.

Experience of working with children is essential.

What are the working hours?

The working hours are Monday to Friday, over 4.5 days earning £29,099.20. You can also work 45 hours over 5 days earning £32,760.
