Nursery Practitioner Level 3

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our award winning team of educators here in Knighton, Leicester!

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children aged 05 years of age.
- Implement and deliver a well-rounded curriculum that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children.
- Plan and organise activities that encourage learning through play, such as arts and crafts, storytelling, and outdoor exploration.
- Observe and assess children's progress, identifying areas for improvement and addressing individual needs.
- Build positive relationships with parents, providing regular updates on their child's development and addressing any concerns or queries.
- Collaborate with a team of nursery practitioners to ensure a smooth and cohesive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including daily reports, accident/incident forms, and attendance records.

**Requirements:**
- Hold a Level 3 childcare qualification (such as CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education or equivalent).
- Demonstrable experience working as a Nursery Practitioner, preferably in a similar setting.
- Strong understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- A passion for providing high-quality care and education to young children.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection legislation.
