The Kentish Town Day Nursery & Pre-School 

Pre-School Teacher Level 6 

Salary - £30,000 

40 hours a week - you choose 4 days 36 hours or the usual 5 days 40 hours (we want to be flexible and have patterns that work around you) 

The Kentish Town Day Nursery & Preschool who are part of the Family First Group are looking for a Level 6 Pre-School Teacher to join their. Within this role you will be responsible for a designated group of children as a key person and will guide the children through the daily routine, liaise with parents and provide an enabling environment.

Our nursery is open from 7.30am - 18:30pm and we would require you to be able to work varied shift patterns between those times. we can offer 4-5 days per week working full days and the salary would change accordingly to the hours worked. 

As Pre-school Teacher, you will:

• Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
• Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met
• Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery, and promote these daily in every routine
• Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff and families
• Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures

As Pre-School Teacher, you will need:

• Full and relevant Level 6 or QTS qualification - essential
• Fluent in written and spoken English - essential
• Over 1 year’s experience of working in Early Years - desirable
• Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable
