Exciting opportunities have arisen for either qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioners or Individuals wishing to undertake a Level 3 Apprenticeship to join our friendly team at our popular pre-school in the village of Tysoe on the Oxfordshire / Warwickshire Border.The Setting is within 10 miles of the towns of Banbury & Shipston on Stour and within 15 miles from Stratford Upon Avon and Warwick.

Please note that there are no public transport links to our village, so driving is recommended.

The successful candidate will have an enthusiastic and positive attitude along with excellent communication and written skills, and the ability to build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents and staff.

Hours: Full -Time working hours between 7.45 am - 6 pm on a rota basis - We are flexible and exact working hours can be discussed

Discounted onsite childcare is available including a school holiday club for children up to age 8.

Salary: Paid Hourly.  Salary is dependent on experience 

Role overview:

  • Ensures that the Nursery team are supported effectively
  • Assists in the allocated base room ensuring all children’s needs are met
  • Carries out any duties as requested by the Room Leader
  • Contributes to the effective running of the room

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Desirable Skills/Qualifications: Full and relevant Early Years qualification Full understanding and working knowledge of the EYFS Awareness of the Ofsted inspection framework Good understanding of health and safety requirements Experience of managing a cohort of key children Essential Skills/Qualifications: Experience working in a similar role  (worked within a childcare setting) or a strong interest in pursuing a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Early Years. Experience of working within a team Experience of providing customer service Skills/Qualifications: Level 3 or above Child Care Diploma  (unless applying for Apprenticeship)
