The job responsibilities will involve creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children and showing awareness of our policies and procedures, ensuring these are followed.
They have to share the responsibility for the welfare of all children in the nursery, follow systems to ensure consistent, high-quality care, and be vigilant and protect children from harm or abuse, reporting any concerns immediately – according to our child protection and whistleblowing policies.
The personal qualities we are looking for; to be reliable and punctual, develop genuine bonds with the key children and support colleagues to fulfil their key person responsibilities sensitively. They should reflect on practice and daily routines, tailoring them to meet each child's individual needs throughout the day.
They will receive training from a certified company and from an experienced manager in the nursery. At the end of their training, they will gain a Level 3 qualification in childcare and their Salary will increase to £10 an hour.
