Nursery Practitioner

We are looking for an experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Abbey Nursery.

Your role as a Nursery Practitioner within the organisation is a very responsible position, not only looking after the welfare and development of the children but also establishing a positive and supportive relationship with their parents/carers. The following is a description of the major responsibilities expected of you in addition to those of supporting the improvement and development of the overall service provided by the nursery on a day to day basis.

Ø To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children place in the setting.

Ø To give support to their staff within the setting.

Ø To work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn.

Ø To build and maintain strong partnership working with parents to enable children’s needs to be met.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From £11.60 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
