Our beautiful Day Dreams Nursery and Pre School in Woking is looking to appoint a Nursery Practitioner.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will provide the highest level of care and education for all children. Ensuring the individual needs and safety of the children are identified and met. Along with building positive working relationships with children, staff, parents and carers.                                                                              Ideally, You will be qualified to level 3 in Childcare with relevant experience in supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS in a Nursery Nurse or Nursery Practitioner role. We welcome applications from unqualified candidates with experience of working within an early years setting.

Key  Responsibilities :

  • Provide a positive practice role model to ensure that  The  Childcare Corporation values are maintained
  • Ensure that equality of access and opportunity is afforded to all staff, parents and children
  • Act as a designated key person for an allocated number of children
  • Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment
  • Ensure you observe, plan and assess children's learning and development within the EYFS framework
  • Read, understand and implement all company policies, procedures and operational practices
  • Ensure that any changes to policies, procedures and operational practices are adhered to within the  required  timescale
  • Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation stage
  • Notify your line manager of any concerns or issues regarding company policies, procedures and operational practices
  • Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children,  parents , visitors and  work  colleagues
  • Ensure confidentiality, where appropriate, is maintained
  • Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings and undertake training as required

Skills / Qualifications:

  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Early Years Childcare.
