Third IN Charge

We are a friendly nursery based in central Wimbledon (only a 3 minute walk away from the train station). Currently we are looking for an experienced Room Leader who might like to work towards being part of the management team as third in charge or an experienced third in charge, This is to work in our under two's unit where you will help the nursery manager and deputy to manager the staff team. We offer a wide range of different staff training as well as staff awards termly. Butterflies Childcare is a private nursery setting offering part-time and full-time care and education for children aged between three months to five years old for families local to Wimbledon and the wider surrounding areas.

We have a vacancy working with children between the ages of 3 months and 4 years old.

You would:
* provide the children with a safe, stimulating and home-like learning environment
* operate a key person system and liaise with parents, carers and senior staff
* plan, organise and implement a programme of activities to meet the needs of this age group
* work as part of a highly-motivated and professional team
You must:
* hold a minimum of a NVQ 3 in Childcare Learning and Development or equivalent qualification
* be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the EYFS and Birth to Three Framework
* be able to promote good practice and provide first class childcare
