Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Building safe, secure and enabling relationships with all children
  • Planning, observing and assessing your key children
  • Providing a safe, stimulating and engaging environment for all children
  • Bringing an enthusiastic, motivational and positive approach to your role
  • Celebrating diversity within the nursery and working together to provide Outstanding care and education
  • Creating a supportive professional partnership with all families allowing children to reach their full potential
  • Working as a member of the team to provide a safe, caring & stimulating environment in line with the EYFS
  • Providing a wide range of activities for children and babies
  • Ensuring all records on paper & tablets are kept up to date
  • Maintaining the high levels of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Keeping up to date with any training and regularly reviewing the nursery polices
  • Carrying out any other duties requested by the nursery/deputy manager

Requirements or Skills:

  • A valid Level 3 Early Years Qualification is essential
  • Experience in an Early Years setting is desirable
  • A caring nature
  • Can be a positive role model to the children within your care
  • Good communication skills
  • An ability to adapt to change and willingness to contribute and be part of a busy team
