Are you passionate about working with children and eager to build a career in early years education? The Early Years Academy is looking for a motivated Apprentice Educator to join our nurturing and dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a Level 2 or 3 Childcare Qualification, all while being part of an inspiring and supportive nursery environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Work alongside experienced Practitioners to provide the highest standard of care for the children in the room.
  • Assist in maintaining an organised, safe, and stimulating environment that supports children's learning and development.
  • Support key workers in delivering engaging daily activities that encourage curiosity and growth.
  • Be an active part of a supportive and welcoming team, helping to create a nurturing atmosphere.
  • Follow guidance from room staff to ensure nursery policies and procedures are upheld at all times.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and organisation in the room.
  • Help set up and supervise indoor and outdoor activities, always ensuring children’s well-being and safety.
  • Communicate professionally and warmly with parents and carers.
  • Respect and take pride in the nursery environment and its resources.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and events as directed.
  • Assist with some domestic duties to ensure the smooth running of the setting.
  • Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility – all employees are expected to uphold the highest standards of safety and well-being for children at all times.
  • Completing course work set by your training provider in a timely maner to work towards your childcare qualification
