Harrow Montessori Day Nursery & Pre-School 

Nursery Assistant - 2.5 years - 4 years 

Salary - £17,940 per annum 

Hours - 30 hours 

The Harrow Day Nursery is a charming and welcoming setting located within the beautiful St George’s Church Hall, an architectural gem nestled in Pinner View. Conveniently situated near Harrow & Wealdstone and Harrow on the Hill train stations, it is easily accessible by both car and public transport. With a Good rating from Ofsted, The Harrow Day Nursery boasts exceptionally spacious rooms where children can grow, learn, and play, all under the nurturing guidance of our qualified and dedicated practitioners.

Nursery Assistant main responsibilities include:

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor at all times
• Understand the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS and staff:child ratios
• Provide engaging and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
• Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and cover all children daily when colleagues are absent
• Observe and support children’s development, update the EyLog system and children’s learning journals with accuracy and relevance, and seek guidance from colleagues or Room Leader if in doubt
• Provide the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development
