Pre-School Teacher

Pre-School Teacher Level 6 

Salary - £30,000 Per Annum

40 hours a week - you choose 4 days 36 hours or the usual 5 days 40 hours (we want to be flexible and have patterns that work around you) 

The Kentish Town Day Nursery & Preschool is seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 6 Pre-School Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be entrusted with a designated group of children as their key person. You will guide them through their daily routines, liaise effectively with parents, and provide an enabling environment that fosters their development and learning.

As Pre-school Teacher, you will:

• Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
• Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met
• Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery, and promote these daily in every routine
• Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff and families
• Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures

As Pre-School Teacher, you will need:

• Full and relevant Level 6 or QTS qualification - essential
• Fluent in written and spoken English - essential
• Over 1 year’s experience of working in Early Years - desirable
• Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable
