  • Busikids Day Nursery, is an independent nursery just outside Hedge End that has been operating for over 25 years, we care for children from 3 months to 5 years old and are now looking for Practitioners to join our lovely, friendly team.
  • We are open Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 6 pm and operate a rolling shift system that allows for a ‘short’ day every other day.
  • There is also the opportunity to extend your working week.
  • The salary is £21,000 working an average 37.5 hours a week.
  • We offer full time hours, part time hours and even ‘bank’ work if that suits you?
  • We will train you in Nursery ways if you are newly qualified and ease you into the role.

Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and education to children aged [insert age range]
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, following the nursery's curriculum
- Observe and monitor children's development, identifying any areas of concern
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being and development of each child
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines
- Ensure the nursery is clean, organized, and meets health and safety standards
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required

Qualifications:
- Minimum relevant level 3 in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting is preferred
- Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
