Level 3 Nursery Practitioner 

Salary - £29,120 per annum 

40 hours a week

Please note that whilst 40 hours per week is preferred, we can review applications for flexible working, salary will reflect reduction in hours.

Head Start Crews Hill Day Nursery is a delightful setting located in the heart of Enfield, surrounded by beautiful grounds and conveniently close to both Enfield Town Tube Station and Gordon Hill Mainline Station. Rated Good by Ofsted, the nursery features a spacious outdoor area where children can explore and connect with the world around them.

We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team in our under 2's room. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, with flexible shift patterns between the nursery's operating hours of 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Please note, this is a year-round position and is not term-time only. The ideal candidate will hold a full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification.

The salary for this role is £29,120 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

As Nursery Practitioner, you will:

• Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
• Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met.
• Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery and promote these daily in every routine.
• Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.
• Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures.
• Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and cover all children daily when colleagues are absent.
• Attend regular team meetings to ensure that you remain updated on key priorities, changes, developments and regularly review company policies and procedures.

As Nursery Practitioner, you will need:

• Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification - essential
• Fluent in written and spoken English - essential
• Over 1 year’s experience of working in Early Years - desirable
• Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable
