Apprentice

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Nursery Apprentice to join our dedicated team at The Green Cave Day Nursery. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start their career in early years education and gain valuable hands-on experience while working towards a recognised qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in providing a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years.
- Support the planning and implementation of activities that promote children’s development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Help with daily routines, including meal times, nappy changing, and sleep times.
- Observe and record children's progress and development.
- Engage with children through play and educational activities.
- Work closely with the nursery team to ensure the well-being of all children.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing feedback on their child’s day.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and undertake training.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
