Spring Grove Nursery is currently recruiting for a Full time Nursery Nurse working 5 days per week 42.5 Hours

You must be qualified NVQ Level 3 Childcare to apply for this role.

Essential Experience Required;

  • Provide high-quality childcare
  • To have an up to date knowledge of the EYFS

Requirements and qualifications of a Nursery Nurse Level 3 role:

  • Level 3 Qualification or above; CACHE, BTEC or NVQ in childcare
  • At Least 3 Years Childcare Experience in a Nursery Setting
  • Ideally, you must live within a 20-minute commutable distance
  • Understanding of play-based approach to children’s learning and development
  • An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • To be able to display consistent good practise and work in a positive manner.
  • For your passion of childcare to be shown through day-to-day activities.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • to have had experience with children aged 1-5 years.
  • To be able to show a willing and can–do attitude.

Specific tasks
• To support children throughout indoor and outdoor activities and to be enthusiastic throughout child-led based play
• To support children during meal times and ensure mealtimes are a sociable time for the children
• Provide our children with comfort, warmth and a safe environment
• Supporting children with hand washing and drying and a self-service routine

Staff

• To be able to work as part of a team
• To support parent partnerships effectively
• Attending all appraisals, supervisions, staff meetings and training to support self-development tasks

• To undergo regular training to support staff development and the safety of all children
