Kidz Day Nursery has an exciting opportunity for reliable, passionate and motivated Early Years Practitioners to join our friendly and experienced team, following company policies and procedures and the EYFS standards.

Kidz day Nursery is a small, family run nursery in Ingleton. We offer high quality childcare and are located within a beautiful rural setting. Due to this rural location, public transport is limited so if you are not within walking distance, driving will be required.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Key worker responsibilities ( We use an Online Learning Journal system to record the children's care routines and daily development. This takes the time away from paperwork and gives you back the time with the children.)
  • Curriculum planning
  • Team work
  • Parent and family partnerships
  • Care and pitching in to support the smooth and professional operation of the nursery
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times
  • Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day to day basis

This role is part time, flexible hours between the times of 7am and 6pm and is subject to an enhanced and satisfactory DBS check or be on the update service, proof of identity will be required and referees will be contacted to check on suitability to work with children.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Early Years Qualification at Level 3 or above
  • excellent knowledge and understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage and have experience of working within children in a nursery/school environment..
