About the Company:
We are a small, independent nursery located in the heart of Holland Park. As a standalone setting with a warm and nurturing atmosphere, we pride ourselves on offering high-quality early years education to a close-knit group of children. Our setting accommodates a maximum of 20 children, allowing for personalised care and meaningful relationships with each child. We are a term-time only nursery with a passionate, experienced team who are committed to providing an enriching early learning environment.

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our team. This is a part-time position, working from 08:30 – 13:00, with the potential to extend hours and the possibility of a full-time contract following an initial three-month period. You will report directly to the Head Teacher and play an important role in supporting the learning, development, and wellbeing of the children in our care.

Success in this role means creating a warm, engaging environment, forming strong bonds with children and families, and contributing to our collaborative and nurturing team culture.

Key Duties:

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Observing and recording children’s development and contributing to their learning journeys.
  • Promoting a safe, caring and stimulating environment at all times.
  • Supporting children’s personal, social and emotional development.
  • Communicating effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure continuity of care and learning.

Skills and Experience:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent is essential.
  • Previous experience working in an early years setting is desirable.
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach to early years education.

Working Week:
Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 13:00 (term time only)
