It opened in 2021 and registrations have recently peaked up.

An experienced Baby Room Practitioner in a warm family atmosphere

We are looking for a passionate and qualified nursery professional with experience in working with babies (3 to 24 months old) to join the Baby Room team

Key Role and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have to perform the following key duties:

  • Be a ‘key person’ to a small group of babies (from 3 to 24 months old) and build positive relationships with their families
  • Monitor babies’ progress to ensure they reach their developmental targets
  • Plan and create activities which keep babies engaged throughout the day
  • Enable babies to become more independent
  • Help prepare babies for the transition into ther Toddler Room (24 to 36 months)
  • Protect and promote the health and well-being of all children
  • Ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed
  • Promote positive relationships in the early years setting
  • Develop good relationship with parents and ability to report on their growth and progress

Key Requirements:

  • Hold a full and relevant early years and childcare qualification at Level 2 or Level 3 (in Childcare, Early Childhood)
  • Minimum 1 year’ experience of working in a Baby Room of a nursery/early years setting
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS
  • Willing to progress in terms of leadership within the company
