If you answered yes to any of those questions then Beaming Stars Day Nursery is the place for you. We are a small family feel nursery set in the heart of New Ash Green. We are only 15 minutes from the M25 and our nearest train station is in Longfield which is aorund a 5-8 minute car journey depending on traffic. Beaming Stars Day Nursery is a popular nursery in the area, due to a family feel ethos, fantastic staff team and our capacity is for 25 children per day. Being able to drive is essential or living locally is a must, as we are situated in a lovely rural area, surrounded by nature.

The nursery operates between 7.30am and 6.30pm and the staff work a 40 hour per week shift pattern. Our staff team consists of 6 full time staff and around 6 bank staff who provide cover for training, annual leave and absenses.

The vacancy is for our baby room, but we may have flexibility for a different room if preffered.

Responsibilities include - being a key person, Observing children on a regular basis and tracking thier development to ensure that any delays in learning are identified quickly so that we can put a plan into action. To liasise closely with our parents, ensurig that they feel listened to as well as updated on how their child is during the day. To work as part of a team, but to also be able to use your initiative when dealing with individual tasks. To enjoy spending time with children!! This is 90% of your working day and you will need to be able to thrive off of the enjoyment that they bring as well as role model (teach) their next steps in learrning.

All candidates will be subject to a DBS check and will need to register themselves onto the Update service.
