Nursery Cleaner - Shooting Stars Hinckley, LE10 1AD

We are looking for a part time nursery cleaner....

To work alongside the nursery team, ensuring that the standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery premises are maintained to a high standard to support the operational excellence of the setting.

  • Hours of Work - 20 hours a week, flexibility to discuss working days/hours.
  • Previous commercial cleaning experience essential
  • Experience working in a day nursery, school, care home or hospital desirable.
  • Salary - up to £12.21 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning and hygiene

Provide high standards of quality within the nursery environment, ensuring that all areas used by our clients, children and staff are clean and hygienic, promoting good health, and supporting good levels of infection control.

Health and Safety

Undertake a shared responsibility for health, safety and the highest standard of cleanliness throughout the nursery.

Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Be fully aware of all emergency and security procedures e.g. fire precautions, security.

To implement and follow COSHH and Risk assessments.

Staff

Be responsible for participating in self-development activities including annual appraisals.

Communication

Ensure effective communication with the staff team.

General

Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by line management. Including housekeeping duties such as laundry and washing up.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate experience of being a key holder.
