A maximum class size of 16 supports a personalised approach to learning and, at the end of their time at Norfolk House, pupils achieve excellent results, allowing them to move onto a range of leading senior schools in London and beyond.

We are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager for our Princes Avenue site to build our team of dedicated and passionate staff and share our vision for an even better offer for nursery families this year and in years to come. You will help to recruit, lead, motivate and manage a team of nursery staff to ensure that they provide high-quality care and education to all children in an unrivalled setting that now operates both in term time and year-round.

As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for the children in our care.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
  • Ensure that the nursery meets all statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the financial performance of the nursery, including budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring expenditure.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, staff, and other stakeholders to promote the nursery and its services.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene, and cleanliness throughout the nursery.
  • Continuously review and improve the quality of care and education provided by the nursery.

In return, we offer:

  • the chance to work with the most engaged, enthusiastic and friendly pupils you are ever likely to find
  • the support and guidance of colleagues from the Bellevue Central Office team
  • a warm and welcoming group of colleagues
  • supportive parents, who are generous with their time and help
  • a close-knit school community
  • Direct support from, and regular check-ins with the Head Teacher

In short, you may just have found the perfect school for you!

Please note, this is not a term-time only position as our nursery is open for 48 weeks of the year. The post-holder would be required to work 45 of these weeks.

CVs on their own will not be accepted.

Norfolk House School and its parent group, Bellevue Education, are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
