Early Years Worker

We have two Nurseries in East London both nurseries take children from 3 months to 5 years, both Nurseries are Ofsted rated "Good".

We we are seeking either a CACHE or NVQ, BTEC Level 3 Qualification in childcare, preferred qualified candidate, or someone who is currently studying towards Level 3 in Childcare.

We are looking for an enthusiastic early years practitioner who enjoys working with young children & families, someone who would be able to work well in a team in our busy nursery environment. 

Both nurseries work together and there are times when our Team members and Managers swap over to either nursery to offer support.

1- post Bow Nursery, E3 3DS

2- post Wetherell Nursery, E9 7BW

Successful candidate will be working 37 hours a week at compressed hours, a 4 day week between 8-6 with 1 hour Lunch break, they will have a rotating NWD (Non Working day) during the week.

The work will include:

• Planning and implementing creative and learning activities in line with EYFS/Ofsted.
• Creative person who is able to plan and implement fun and educational activities that will challenge children's learning and development 
• Working as part of a busy team, being able to support colleagues
• Being able to multitask and manage difficult challenges
• Ensuring safety and well-being of children at all times.
• Having Safeguarding knowledge and following policies and procedures
• Following Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Carrying out observations of children and planning next steps
• Writing reports.
• Being able to support Referrals to outside agencies
• Interacting parents and updating them on child's progress.
• Having a professional relationship with external partners or outside professionals.
• Supervising play.

Successful applicant will be offered a position at either Bow or Wetherell Nursery.

Please note that this Early Years qualification must be full and relevant as per the Department for Education guidelines.

An enhanced DBS will be required for these roles.
