Salary: £15 an hour Term Time.
Hours: 40 hours per week

This is a term time position/ Full Time Role 

Little Munchkins is a beautifully designed, purpose-built nursery located in Hounslow. This Ofsted-rated Good nursery is conveniently situated just a 10-minute walk from Osterley train station, making it easily accessible by both public transport and car, with parking available right outside.

Our nursery features spacious, light-filled rooms and a large, fully resourced garden, complete with a climbing frame and slide, offering endless opportunities for outdoor play and learning. This vibrant space encourages children to engage in both imaginative and real-world play, supporting their growth and development. We embrace the Montessori philosophy, creating a nurturing and engaging environment that fosters independence, creativity, and curiosity.

We are currently looking for a Montessori Teacher to join our team. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, and a full, relevant Montessori qualification is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Stimulating and purposeful experiences, environment, and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
• understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met.
• Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery and promote these daily in every routine.
• Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.
• Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures.
• Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and cover all children daily when colleagues are absent.
• Attend regular team meetings to ensure that you remain updated on key priorities, changes, developments and regularly review company policies and procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications: Full and relevant Montessori qualification (essential)
• Language Skills: Fluency in written and spoken English (essential)
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in Early Years (desirable)
• Knowledge: Familiarity with the EYFS statutory framework and regulatory requirements (desirable)
