At Ashton House Nursery, we provide exceptional childcare in an unique nursery setting. We create a healthy environment where children can flourish with a focus on outdoor learning.

We seek inspirational Nursery Nurses to join our outstanding team. It isn't essential that you are qualified as full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Main responsibilities will include the following:

  • Ensure that all children attending the setting are kept safe and to provide every child with the freedom to connect with nature, take risks and test out their ideas through authentic 'hands on' experiences.
  • Observe, support and extend children learning.
  • Plan appropriately for children using the EYFS framework.
  • Maintain accurate and effective observations, Tracking support sheets, planning and children's Learning Journey.
  • Work in partnership with parents/carers and other family members.
  • Demonstrate good practice with regard to special needs and inclusion.
  • Ensuring that all legislation in relation to special needs, safeguarding and Health and Safety is complied with.

The ideal applicant:

  • Must be at least Level 2 qualified
  • An excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families
  • Extensive knowledge of Safeguarding
  • Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies.
