We have vacancies for Early Years Practitioners within our Nursery and pre-school

Scale B  £22,737 – £23,058  (fte) per annum pro rata for part time

Hourly rate  £11.81-£11.98

Hours:

We have vacancies for full-time (37 hours) / part-time /maternity leave cover positions.

Job share and part-time hours will be actively considered

We have a passion to making learning fun and engaging for each child allowing them to feel happy and confident while providing them the opportunities to develop in their own unique individual way.

A sound understanding of child development in-line with the EYFS (2021) is essential, as well as respect for individual needs and learning styles. You must enjoy working within a professional Early Years staff team and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, children and within a genuine partnership with parents.  A sense of humour, an enthusiastic approach and ability to contribute towards working within a safe, stimulating early years’ environment is vital

You will be a key holder and will share the responsibility for opening up or locking up the setting when necessary.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

-  Minimum NVQ level 2 in Children’s Care, Learning & Development or equivalent.

-  Previous experience of working within a childcare setting caring for babies and children aged 6mths -5 years is desirable but not essential

-  Newly qualified practitioners would be considered

-  Good Communication skills both verbal & written

-  Certificates in Food Hygiene, First Aid, Safeguarding, are desirable. Full training given
