Early years Practitioner

Woodhouse Nursery are looking to recruit  two experienced  Early Years Practitioners . 

Our first  vacancy is to cover maternity leave based  in our very  busy preschool room.  

This is a temporary term time only position that may lead to a permanent post. 

Our second vacancy is a permanent position based in our Buttercup room working with children aged 2 years. 

This is a term time only post. 

We are looking for practitioners who are qualified in Early Years at level 3 or above. You must have experience working in an early years setting and be an organised individual with the enthusiasm and passion needed to work with young children and their families. 

The preferred qualities needed are: 

• Good team player
• Can use own initiative 
• Self motivated 
• Have sound knowledge of the EYFS and Development Matters. 
• Have a good understanding of child development and how to support children with differing  needs 
• Have a  friendly, loving and warm manner.  
• Are able to use a child-centred teaching/learning approach. 

The nursery is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm and the successful individual will need to have a flexible working attitude to meet the needs and demands of the nursery. 

You will be offered a weekly contract of  25 hour plus. Hourly rate of pay to be discussed at interview stage.
