Role Overview: We are looking for passionate Level 2 qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our team. If you have a Level 2 childcare qualification and a love for working with children, we would love to hear from you! Experience in early years and a good understanding of the EYFS framework are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high standards of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children in the setting.

  • Plan and deliver stimulating and age-appropriate activities that promote children’s development and learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

  • Support other personnel within the setting.

  • Implement the daily routine in the base room.

  • Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging each child’s independence, creativity, and social skills.

  • Build positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child’s development and wellbeing.

  • Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and well-maintained, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Hours of Work:

  • Monday to Friday, between 7.30am – 6pm

  • This post is initially term time (39 weeks out of 52), with the prospect of becoming an all year round post.

Pay:

  • Competitive, based on experience, training, and qualifications

Responsible to:

  • Area Manager, Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, Senior Nursery Nurse

Experience is desirable but not essential.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Level 2 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent.
  • GCSEs in English and Maths.
  • Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
