Role Overview: We are looking for a happy, positive, and enthusiastic person who wants to work with children to undertake an apprenticeship to train as an Early Years Nursery Practitioner. This apprenticeship offers you the chance to gain hands-on experience while studying towards a  Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification. As a Nursery Apprentice, you will learn from experienced practitioners and be an integral part of our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in providing a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children.

  • Support the planning and delivery of activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

  • Observe and monitor children’s progress, helping to create individual learning plans.

  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.

  • Contribute to the day-to-day running of the nursery, including maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

  • Attend and participate in training sessions and complete all necessary coursework and assessments.

Schedule:

  • 37.5 hours per week

  • Monday to Friday

  • No weekends

Requirements:

  • Ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Manchester before starting work (preferred).

  • Previous experience in a nursery, childcare, or management role is preferred but not essential.
