Temporary Nursery Proprietor

Bumble Bees Nursery in Paddock Wood is looking to recruit a new member of staff to join our amazing team, could you be the right candidate?

We are looking for a full time member of staff to cover Maternity leave starting August 2025.( Possibility of extending to permanent.)  Hours of work - Monday to Friday 8am-5.30pm or 8.30am-6pm on weekly rota.

Bumble Bees is a privately owned setting which has been under the same owner since 1994. We are registered for 58 children. Our Baby Unit currently has 15 babies attending daily, split between two rooms, with the nursery having 32 children split into 4 groups of 8 children.

Candidates should be competent with knowledge of the EYFS and be able to plan and prepare activities for their Key Children. IT knowledge is essential as Daily activities are shared with parents via an online Dayshare Programme.

The candidate will be working alongside two other experienced members of staff in the Baby Unit initially working with our under 2's. 

It is essential to have good time keeping, be reliable and confident to use initiative. It is also important to work well as part of a team and build good relations with parents/carers.

Bumble Bees have a small, friendly and welcoming team of staff and are looking for candidates to complement the team in place.
