MRN is looking for a passionate and experienced Nursery Chef to manage our busy nursery kitchen in Stockwell, just one minute walk away from Stockwell underground station.

The successful candidate will have experience of managing a commercial kitchen and cooking for large numbers of people and should have a robust knowledge of food hygiene, health & safety and allergy control guidelines and procedures as well as Safer Food Better Business.

Level 2/3 in Catering/Food Hygiene or a similar/equivalent qualification is preferred.

Salary - £18,500 to £25,000 dependent upon candidate.

Vacant Positions:

· Full Time (40 Hours a week), 7:30am - 4:30pm.

Scope of position:

· To be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen

· Liaise with Nursery Manager and ensure food orders are carried out and stock control is managed

· Ensure meals are served on time as per nursery menu

Key Responsibilities lie in:

· Health, Safety and Hygiene of Kitchen

· Contribute to team effort of the nursery
