Early Years Teacher

With over 25 years’ experience providing care and education for children, the Alphabet House have grown since inception from the founding setting based in Stratford to now having multiple thriving nursery schools across London including our site in Enderby Wharf, Greenwich.

Our teaching philosophy is based on the Early Years Foundation Framework with core Montessori principles giving each child the tool to achieve their full potential.

We are currently recruiting for a passionate, warm and nurturing Early Years Teacher (QTS) to help guide and support children in a pre-school environment. The successful Early Years Educator will work closely with children, including groups of children at a time, to provide them with educational opportunities. We're looking for someone who is committed to the development of children and who has lots of energy and enthusiasm, a prerequisite for this role.

Role

• Assess children's needs, interests, and developmental stages accurately and effectively by assisting in the implementation of the key person strategy.
• Deliver consistently high-quality care that supports each child's unique needs while providing abundant learning opportunities for them all.
• In accordance with our child protection and keeping everyone safe policies and procedures, safeguard and promote the health, safety, and welfare of children.
• Ensure that British Values are incorporated and demonstrated through Early Years Foundation Stage learning and play.
• Promote and follow guidelines implemented for managing behaviour including supporting children to manage their own feelings and behaviours.
