Nursery Practitioner

All A-Board Day Nursery is a small business in Sidcup. We are a day nursery and play village looking for a new team member to start now.

We are seeking someone who is Level 2 or 3 qualified who would like to take the opportunity to work hours of 12-6pm alongside our team.

Duties of the job role are:

- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery

- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum

- Supervise and engage children in play and learning experiences

- Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care

- Collaborate with other nursery practitioners to create a positive and inclusive environment

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the nursery area

- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns

``` Requirements:```

- Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting

- Knowledge of child development principles and practices

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children - A relevant childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare)

- First Aid certification is preferred but not required
