Are you a passionate, experienced and qualified Makaton Trainer? Do you want to make a real difference in early years education while working flexibly on a freelance basis? Tops Day Nurseries is looking for a dedicated Freelance Makaton Trainer to deliver high-quality online training to our teams across the UK.

About the Role:

As a self-employed Makaton Trainer, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and informative Makaton training sessions from taster sessions up to level 2
  • Support our staff in developing essential communication skills to enhance the learning experience for young children.
  • Adapt training content to meet the needs of different learners within the early years sector.
  • Work flexibly to fit training sessions around your availability.

About You:

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • A qualified Makaton Tutor with experience delivering training.
  • Passionate about early years education and inclusive communication.
  • Experienced in delivering online training using platforms like Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
  • Organised, engaging, and able to adapt training to suit different learners.
  • A self-employed professional with the ability to manage their own schedule and invoicing.

You will need to have a company registration number and employers public liability insurance in order to work with us on a sub-contracting basis.
