Revive Education are recruiting for a thriving nursery based in Kenilworth in Warwickshire looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and motivated qualified (Level 2 Min) Early Years Practitioner (Nursery Nurse). You will have a flexible approach, a positive attitude and really enjoy having fun. You will love caring for children, which will need to spill over into caring for parents and colleagues too.

The right candidate will be quirky and eager to make a positive impact on the nursery children’s learning and development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and supervision for children in a nursery setting.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote early childhood development.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive environment.
  • Maintain a safe and clean nursery space, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to manage daily operations and support children's learning and growth

The successful candidate will:

  • Be easy going, able to laugh at jokes (especially bad ones, and those that don't make sense) and not take things too seriously
  • Make all children feel special (and the parents too!)
  • Happy to sing 'loud and proud', even if you can't sing in tune (preferably not in tune)
  • Be imaginative, especially when required to perform the role of a Wrestler, Disney Princess or Shopkeeper
  • Be good at hugging and ready to be a very important person to a group of children
  • Laugh at going home with random stains on your clothing
  • Must hold a Level 2 or above qualification in Early years education & care.
