We are looking for a passionate, committed,
experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join
our BRAND-NEW nursery setting in Staines. Your role
will be responsible for supporting the smooth day-to-day running of
the nursery, ensuring colleagues and children are thriving.

We are recruiting:
Position: Deputy Nursery Manager
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £31.500 to £35,000 per annum
Nursery opening hours: 7:30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
Location: The Old Station, Moor Lane, Staines, TW18 4BB
Qualification: Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification

Your role will include:
- Support the Nursery Manager in developing and leading the team
ensuring they are performing at their very best every day
- Encourage colleague development and fostering a culture of
collaboration, through mentoring, training and performance management
- Support with providing leadership on educational programmes and
curriculum including alignment of the EYFS
- Support the Nursery Manager on the ongoing delivery to ensure the
highest standards of childcare and operational efficiency across the nursery
- Management of colleague rotas; ensuring correct colleague levels
in line with ratios
- Implement and maintain H&S and hygiene standards across the nursery
- Manage the procurement of resources and supplies
- Responsible for building strong long-standing relationships with
parents and carers to ensure they feel informed, valued and involved
- Support the Nursery Manager for colleague engagement, personal
development, ensuring alignment with our company ethos and values
- Driving a positive and collaborative work environment
- Being a role model to all colleagues
What you’ll need to succeed:
- A passion and dedication to providing world-class care to children
- Previous experience as a deputy manager or experienced room leader
- To hold a full and relevant early years qualification of Level 3
or above
- Strong people management and leadership skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence with technology including Microsoft suite, various
programmes and software used in a nursery
- Strong problem solving and organisational skills
- Strong desire to learn and grow at My Ohana
