Your Duties:

  • We invite a friendly, spirited individual to join our Leatherhead Nursery as a Lunchtime Assistant.
  • In this pivotal role, you'll cover the hours between approximately 10am and 3pm
  • Your role involves delivering exceptional care that supports each child's development and individual needs.
  • With a flexible approach, you'll fulfill lunchtime responsibilities and provide vital support to local nurseries.
  • By creating enriching environments filled with engaging activities, you'll foster indoor and outdoor growth.
  • Guided by British Values embedded in Core Advantage, LEAP, and Early Years Foundation Stage learning, you'll ensure a holistic education experience. Safety remains paramount, as you'll adhere to child protection and health and safety policies, safeguarding children's well-being.

What we ideally require from you:

  • Experience in early years education settings with 'Good or Outstanding' inspection outcomes.
  • Required - Level 2 or Above Qualification in Early Years
  • Successful collaboration within nursery teams and effective communication.
  • Record of ongoing training and professional qualifications.
  • Proficiency in hygiene standards, room preparation, and decision-making.
  • Experience in food preparation and relevant food management training.
  • Familiarity with child protection and safeguarding policies.
  • Motivated and deadline-driven, particularly in children's record-keeping and assessment
