Salary - £34,00 Per Annum 

Location - 16 Nurseries across Area 1 

Hours 40 hours

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Nursery Field Deputy Manager to support our nurseries across Area 1.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and flexible Nursery Field Deputy Manager to oversee and provide operational support across 16 nurseries in Area 1. This crucial role will focus on maintaining our high-quality standards, ensuring safety, and managing staffing challenges, including staff-to-child ratios. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be hands-on in delivering outstanding care.

As a  Nursery Field Deputy Manager, you will:

  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent, and visitor at all times.
  • Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met throughout the nursery.
  • Assist in managing the acceptance and administration of medication and ensure care plans are thorough and up to date for children or staff with health conditions.
  • Ensure that all children receive stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
  • Promote respect and credibility for this position through effective communication skills, impartiality, and consistency.
  • Inspire staff team with creative ideas and new challenges with aim to achieve outstanding practice.
  • Maintain accurate records and accounts relating to children and staff on EyMan system and on file.
  • Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families..

Requirements and Skills for Nursery Field Deputy Manager:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential
  • Over 1 years’ experience of working in Early Years - Essential
  • Sound knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential
  • Over 1 years’ experience of working in a management position - Desirable.
  • Level 5 qualification in Childcare and/or Management and Leadership - Desirable
  • Experience of successfully passing an Ofsted inspection to good or outstanding - Desirable
