Overview of the role
We are looking to appoint a flexible, energetic, conscientious and dedicated professional to join our team. You will need to have excellent communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively with children, staff and parents.
The ideal candidate must have experience of working within an early year’s setting and must hold a full and relevant Childcare and Education qualification at minimum level 3 and a leadership and management qualification is desirable. The position will be 37.5 hours per week, working between the hours of 7.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Salary £27,709.50 – £28,884.50 depending upon experience.
As a Senior Early Year’s Educator at Chilton Meadows Day Nursery, you will contribute to the well-being and development of children in our care. You will be an integral part of the team dedicated to creating a positive and engaging learning environment aligned with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

  • ensuring it is set up appropriately and ensure all policies and procedures are followed by your team. • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. • Assessments and observations reflecting on children’s learning and development. • Ensure the safety and well-being of children under your care. • Maintain open and effective communication with parents
  • caregivers and team members. • Foster positive relationships with children
  • promoting a sense of security and belonging. • Carry out personal care routines for children and administer medications when needed
  • recording the information in written form and upload onto our online system.
