Job Title: Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

Salary: £23,593.44 per annum

Contract Type: Full-Time, 38 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide stimulating and engaging activities, environments, and resources that are appropriate to each child’s age and stage of development.
  • Ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS and meet its requirements.
  • Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery, promoting these values in daily routines.
  • Undertake additional duties as necessary to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.
  • Maintain professional relationships and report any concerns or complaints to management in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Support a strong key person approach, fostering secure attachments with children, and cover for colleagues when they are absent.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to stay updated on key priorities, changes, and developments, and regularly review company policies and procedures.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification (essential).
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (essential).
  • A minimum of 1 year’s experience working in Early Years (desirable).
  • Knowledge of the Statutory Framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements (desirable).
