Cherrywood Nursery, located in the picturesque village of Pirbright, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team. If you're looking to make a real difference in the early years, this is the opportunity for you.

Our contemporary, open-plan nursery is equipped with outstanding facilities, including a dedicated sensory room and soft play area designed to encourage creativity and exploration. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and education that meets each child’s individual needs in a safe, caring, and supportive environment where children can play, learn, and develop.
  • Observe, assess, and plan an engaging range of early years activities that support each child's unique learning and development.
  • Collaborate with the team, demonstrating a flexible approach and a willingness to develop new skills.
  • Ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed and reviewed regularly.
  • Adhere to risk assessments and report any health and safety concerns to management.
  • Support the physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development of children through caring and stimulating activities.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Full and relevant Level 2 / Level 3 childcare qualification (essential).
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (essential).
  • A minimum of 1 year’s experience in Early Years (desirable).
  • Knowledge of the Statutory Framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements (desirable).
