Role: Early Years Deputy Manager
Location: Shooting Stars Nursery, Kings Norton, B30 3QJ
Salary: £32,032.00 p/a
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 recognised childcare qualification
- Experience working in a children’s day nursery with knowledge and
experience in a leadership/senior role and experience delivering the EYFS
Hours of Work:
- Full time position 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, in
shifts between 7.30am and 6pm. We are open all year round, except
bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities
· Key leadership role, you will be the suitable person in charge of
the nursery in the absence of the Nursery Manager
· Contributing to the overall responsibility for Safeguarding, health
and safety practices and child protection in the setting &
maintaining accurate and up to date systems and records at all times
· Assisting the Nursery Manager in all operational and regulatory
aspects of running the nursery
· Assisting the Nursery Manager in the effective leadership of the
nursery team, providing training, coaching and mentoring
