We have an opportunity for a full time Deputy Manager to join our management team.

The right candidate must hold a level 3 or above relevant childcare qualification.

Hours: Full-time and all year round (Monday to Friday 40 hours on a shift basis 7.30a.m – 6.00p.m)

Salary: Negotiable dependant upon experience

Purpose of Post

  • 1. To work under the direction of the Childcare Manager as required.
  • 2. To support the aims and objectives of the nursery and assist the manager in the organisation of a high quality establishment for children from 3 months to five years.
  • 3. To provide high standards of childcare and education to include the monitoring and reviews of provisions, this includes providing a safe and caring environment to enable the emotional, social and educational development of children, through individual attention and group activities.
  • 4. To direct and support staff as agreed by the Childcare Manager.

Core training is provided through extensive CPD opportunities it would be desirable to have prior knowledge in Safeguarding Level 1 and 2, Paediatric First Aid, Level 2 Food Safety.
