About the Role:

As Deputy Manager, you will support the Nursery Manager in leading our setting with excellence. You will be responsible for:

  • Operations: Ensuring high standards of care, education, and customer service.
  • Strategy: Developing and implementing strategies to maximise occupancy and revenue.
  • Team Leadership: Supervising and training the team, providing guidance and support.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with nursery policies and procedures.
  • Marketing: Supporting the promotion of the nursery to attract new customers.
  • Brand Building: Enhancing our brand and reputation, fostering community cohesion and environmental care.
  • Creative Opportunities: Supporting exciting extracurricular activities for children, including stay and play, intergenerational care, forest school, and more.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in early years leadership, you may have been a room leader or team leader previously.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of Early Years Legislation and Ofsted.
  • Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and proficiency in computer software.
  • Education: Level 3 in Childcare & Development Qualification, English GCSE or equivalent
  • Desirable: A driver's license.
