We are seeking a passionate and dedicated full time Early Years
Educator to join our team. and lead our 16 place Toddler Room. The
ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood
education and a genuine love for working with young children. As an
Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in fostering a
nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic
development of children aged 0-5 years. You will be responsible for
creating engaging learning experiences that encourage curiosity,
creativity, and social skills.
Usual hours of work will be over 4 days between Monday - Friday 7.30-6pm
Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support
children's learning and development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children
to explore and learn.
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their
achievements and identifying areas for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to
build strong relationships and support children's needs.
- Manage behaviour in a positive manner, promoting respect and
cooperation among children.
- Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and
enhance the overall quality of care provided.
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, development
milestones, and any concerns that may arise.
- Promote children's well-being, health, and safety within the
nursery setting.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a childcare or early years
setting is essential.
- A recognised qualification to level 3 or above in Early Childhood
Education or Childcare is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team effectively.
- A genuine passion for nurturing young minds and fostering their development.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being
able to take initiative when required.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development in early years
education practices.
