Are you a passionate, experienced and qualified Makaton Trainer? Do you want to make a real difference in early years education while working flexibly on a freelance basis? Tops Day Nurseries is looking for a dedicated Freelance Makaton Trainer to deliver high-quality online training to our teams across the UK.

About the Role:

As a self-employed Makaton Trainer, you will:
Deliver engaging and informative Makaton training sessions from taster sessions up to level 2
Support our staff in developing essential communication skills to enhance the learning experience for young children.
Adapt training content to meet the needs of different learners within the early years sector.
Work flexibly to fit training sessions around your availability.

About You:

We’re looking for someone who is:
A qualified Makaton Tutor with experience delivering training.
Passionate about early years education and inclusive communication.
Experienced in delivering online training using platforms like Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
Organised, engaging, and able to adapt training to suit different learners.
A self-employed professional with the ability to manage their own schedule and invoicing.

You will need to have a company registration number and employers public liability insurance in order to work with us on a sub-contracting basis.
