About the role
As a Teaching & Wrap Assistant, you will play a vital role
in supporting the educational and social development of our pupils.
Working closely with the class teacher, you will assist in the
delivery of engaging learning experiences while helping to create a
nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 3 to 11. Your
responsibilities will encompass providing one-on-one support to
individual students, aiding in group activities, and implementing
strategies to enhance each child's learning journey. In the
after-school setting, you will contribute to safe, creative play
activities, ensuring that every child's needs are met. Your role will
be central to fostering a positive atmosphere where children feel
valued and inspired.
This is a permanent, full-time role with a September 2025
start date.
Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual who has
a genuine love for working with young children. You will have good
basic education to GCSE level in literacy and numeracy, or the
equivalent. You should also possess excellent communication and
organisational skills along with the ability to work collaboratively
within a team. Ideally, you will have experience supporting children
with diverse needs and a good understanding of child development. A
relevant qualification in Education or Childcare and a First Aid
certificate are advantageous but not essential. If you are proactive,
reliable, and committed to promoting children's wellbeing, we would
love to hear from you.
