NURSERY MANAGER

A fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Nursery Manager to lead our team in our successful nursery. As Nursery Manager you will lead the team of staff, ensuring the highest standard of care for the children. You will be involved in providing a dynamic, active learning environment for the children on a day-to-day basis.

 

Tockington Manor School, a member of the Clifton College Education Group, is an independent preparatory school and nursery educating boys and girls from 2 – 13 years of age. The school is situated in the village of Tockington, a few minutes’ drive from Junction 16 of the M5, just north of the city of Bristol. The school and its nursery sit in 28 acres of beautiful grounds, providing a safe, secure and happy environment for its pupils. Boasting first class sports pitches, a 25 metre indoor swimming pool and an all-weather pitch, it is also home to one of the largest privately owned arboretums in the UK.

 

You will be aware of and comply with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework. Ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of the children in the nursery at all times is essential.

  • • Ensure the nursery meets and exceeds the requirements of regulatory bodies such as ISI.

  • ensuring excellent communication and involvement in their child’s learning journey.
  • A recognised childcare/Early Years qualification at a Level 3 minimum
  • Minimum of 2 years role in management or leadership experience within an early years setting
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS framework
