A ‘White Christmas’ for Meadow View Day Nursery

A surprise 'snowfall' in Newport Pagnell gave children at Meadow View Day Nursery the 'White Christmas' they had been wishing for thanks to staff wielding snow machines.

Following a dawn start for staff at the Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' day nursery in Westbury Lane in Newport Pagnell the snow machines were activated to create a winter wonderland as a surprise for pre-schoolers.

Manager, Elkie Taylor said: “Harnessing children’s natural wonder and imagination is a rewarding experience all year-long but this surprise was really magical."

Praising colleague Neil Brett, who owns the machines, for his hard work, she said: "Watching the children and the staff as the surprise was revealed was priceless.”
