Easter celebrations at Green Park Day Nursery

Easter celebrations were well underway at Green Park Day Nursery in Reading as children and colleagues enjoyed a range of treats as part of the annual festivities.

At the day nursery on Lime Square, children were delighted to take part in an exciting Easter egg hunt around the garden, as well as showcase their creativity with a competition to design their very own Easter bonnet, whilst dedicated colleagues were treated to Easter eggs as a thank you from their company, Childbase Partnership.

Nursery families were also able to get involved with an Easter egg raffle to raise money for Green Park charity partner, Cancer Research UK, who are currently facing predicted losses of 20-25% in fundraising income due to the pandemic.

Green Park Day Nursery Manager, Mandy Cooper explained;

“We love to mark special occasions in nursery and Easter is no exception. The children had a brilliant time taking part in the themed activities, and we are delighted to be raising vital funds for such a worthy cause in the process.”
